5 Year Olds Tantrums - How You Should Respond

When children are younger we often excuse tantrums as an age of corporate behavior. But at the age of five, we think they should be over. Regardless, temper tantrums are not to be tolerated. That does not mean the child should immediately be punished for the tantrum. You will likely get better results by trying to understand what has caused this extreme emotional response. It could be a cry for attention, love, or a sign that your child needs help learning to cope with strong emotions.
